I made the piece of work above, with the help of my photographer friend Paul, who shot the photos in his studio. Id been thinking about how the human figure can look so graphic and shape like, and I wanted to experiment with lots of these shapes changing rapidly, sort of emulating early photography sequences, Eadweard Muybridge style.
I was reading back over my college blog trying to fnd this stuff and was once again drawn into the amount of figuring out and ideas I had recorded. Theres enough bloody info and ideas in there to make exhibitions for 10 years. I wanted to take this piece out and look at it as it was the beginning of my body alphabet work and now that my body alphabet schools workshop project has to be postponed I want to think about how I can develop it within the online perameters that are available to me right now.
